Berlin/London, 21st October 2025 – Enpal, Europe’s leading residential solar provider and Germany’s largest heat pump provider, has set up a c. €700m ABS warehouse jointly with UK investment manager M&G to further accelerate the roll-out of Enpal's embedded financing solution for residential solar and heating.
The facility, backed by €600m in senior lending from Citi, Barclays, Bank of America, and Crédit Agricole CIB, marks a major step in Enpal’s transition to a fully capital efficient refinancing model.
“Securing additional funding from leading international banks highlights the appeal of our embedded financing model,” said Viktor Wingert, CFO and Cofounder of Enpal. “This new structure enables us to scale even more capital efficiently, bringing modern energy solutions to thousands of households without high upfront costs.”
“Our partnership with M&G, established in 2022, has become a cornerstone of our refinancing engine,” added Gregor Burkart, Senior Vice President Asset Financing at Enpal. “Together, we will continue transitioning thousands of households each month to renewable energy solutions while strengthening Europe’s energy independence.”
